When to visit

Spring and winter are the best times to book your package holiday to Kuwait. The spring months of February to April are cool and pleasant, and the desert is laced with a gossamer covering of lime green and pretty petunias. November to March can get chilly in the evenings, but it’s still very pleasant during the day and rain is minimal.

  • Visit some of the most significant archaeological sites in the Gulf at Failaka Island. Artefacts from the Bronze Age and classical heritage are all found here.
  • Take the kids to Al-Sha'ab Leisure Park, where they can enjoy rides, attractions, and roller skating. If they prefer splashing around, head to the huge Aqua park for an adrenaline-fuelled day on the slides and wave pools.

Highlights include Liberation Day, National Day, and the Hala Festival, which are all held in February. The annual Hala Festival commemorates the liberation of Kuwait, with its carnivals, street parties and musical shows all designed to promote tourism in the country and lift the local economy.
