Overview

Seabourn Pursuit is the second Seabourn expedition ship slated to launch in 2023. Both Seabourn Pursuit and sister ship Seabourn Venture are designed and built for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards and include modern hardware and technology that will extend the ships’ global deployment and capabilities. Each will carry two custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs, kayaks, and a 26-person expert expedition team whose role is to engage guests throughout each voyage.

Begin your memorable journey with Qatar Airways flights to Buenos Aires.

After arriving at Buenos Aires International Airport, please arrange your own transfer to the chosen hotel accommodation for a 1-night stay.

Over night stay at Buenos Aires.
Fly to Ushuaia and boarding
Take a domestic flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Timings will be communicated closer to the date.

Enjoy lunch on a catamaran cruise of the scenic Beagle Channel.

After lunch, please arrange your own transfer to Ushuaia Cruise Port for embarkation.

Cruise boarding starts at 2:00PM and ends by 4:00PM. Make sure you reach the port on time for the boarding procedures.

Ship departs at 7:00PM.
At sea
Voyage across the legendary Drake Passage, keeping watch for whales, dolphins and seabirds from the Observation Deck. Take advantage of the ship's many amenities—relax at the spa, sip cocktails at the bar or settle-in with a book from the library. Enjoy presentations from onboard naturalists about the wildlife of the Antarctica Peninsula or visit the Bridge to learn about navigation from the ship's officers.
Exploring Antarctica
With extended daylight hours at this time of year, you'll make the most of each day, keeping a flexible schedule to take advantage of the unexpected. You can anticipate opportunities to take walks ashore, explore by Zodiac or kayak, and experience close encounters with wildlife. Your route will be determined by the conditions and the ever-changing ice.

One day, you may take Zodiacs out to see towering icebergs at close range, walk a beach covered with seals and penguins, or hike to a summit for a breathtaking view. The next, you may kayak amid glittering brash ice or along a cliffside rookery in search of blue-eyed shags. And the next, you might experience the thrill of the ship crunching through the pack ice.

As you encounter the volcanic isles and pristine bays of the peninsula, the expedition team will bring depth and insight to the experience, explaining the behaviors and interactions of different species, the geological and climatic forces that still shape Antarctica, the anatomy of a glacier and even how to capture beautiful photographs of the places you'll visit. Along the way, undersea specialists will capture images from the deep—revealing the hardy marine life beneath the ice.
At sea
Enjoy the ship’s amenities as the Antarctic coast disappears from view. Round the southernmost tip of South America and see the meeting of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Celebrate your voyage with a farewell dinner on board.
Disembarkation & Departure
The ship will reach Ushuaia Port by 5:00AM.

Disembarkation usually begins 2 hours after docking on final day of cruise - by 07:00AM.

Please feel free to keep using the public area of the ship for up to 2 hours after disembarkation - by 09:00AM.

It is now time to step off the ship, taking with you the cherished memories you have gathered.

Kindly arrange your own transfers to the dedicated airport to board your domestic flights to Buenos Aires. From there, you can directly take your international flights back home.
