Quarantine Free Holidays FAQs

Do I need a Visa to enter any of these destinations?

Please check for any entry requirements for the destination you wish to travel to.

What is a Quarantine Free Holiday?

These are holidays to destinations where travellers who have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccination are able to enter the destination country without being required to undertake a period of quarantine. Similarly, on return from the destination no quarantine is required for those who have had the vaccine, where the second vaccine has been received no less than 14 days and no more than 6 months before the date of the return to Saudi Arabia.

Who can travel on a quarantine free holiday?

These offers are available to anyone who is currently living in Saudi Arabia. citizen spouses, citizen’s children and domestic workers accompanying any of individuals mentioned in these categories. (Non-vaccinated travellers, in this category, shall comply with home quarantine for a period of 7 days, and take a PCR test on the 6th day of quarantine).

There is no quarantine requirement on arrival in the destination or on return to Saudi Arabia for those who qualify for each of the following:

  • Adults over the age of 18 have received a vaccination against Covid-19
  • The second dose of the vaccine was received no less than 14 days before return to Qatar
  • The second vaccine was received no more than 6 months before the date of the return flight

Can I travel with my children if they have not received the vaccine?

The current entry rules for Saudi Arabia are that a child under the age of 18 can travel with their parents if their parents have received vaccines, and they will be exempted from hotel quarantine. They will be required to home quarantine for 7 days on their return and take a PCR test on the 6th day of home quarantine.

What documentation is required to prove I have received both of the vaccines?

We recommend that each adult carries a copy of their vaccine certificate.• Vaccine certificates are required to be certified by official health authorities from the country that provided the vaccination for incoming passengers. The last dose (the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the first dose of a single dose vaccine) should have been received at least 14 days before travelling to Saudi Arabia.

What if I haven’t received the vaccine yet?

If you have not yet received the vaccine, then please check the relevant conditions of travel as these will apply for the destination country, and for the return to KSA where mandated quarantine rules may apply as per the Ministry of Public Health guidelines.

Will I require a PCR test?
