Qatar Airways Holidays - Terms and Conditions

 

1. General Terms & Conditions:

• All rates quoted are in Omani Riyals (OMR).
• The rates are valid until 31 December 2021 only.
• The Booking Window is until 11 September 2021.
• Hotel rates quoted are inclusive of all taxes and fees known at the time of producing this package. Qatar Airways Holidays reserves the right to adjust without prior notice, the quoted rates accordingly to reflect any increase or changes in the amount of government or municipality fees and/or taxes as applicable.
• “This promotion” is available to guests from all origins on the Qatar Global or Qatar Airways Partners (QAP) network. This offer is only available for point to point bookings, where Qatar is the final destination.
• The offers are valid on Qatar Airways Partner operated flights provided that at least one of the two flights link with Doha (inbound or outbound).
• The booking conditions of the applicable fare of your ticket will apply. Please read the terms and conditions on your ticket carefully.
• “This promotion” is subject to daily hotel allocation and as a result, all accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation.
• Rates offered are starting prices in SAR, and are per person per night based on twin share. The final pricing is subject to availability and seasonality. Qatar Airways Holidays reserve the right to change the rates of any of the hotels, excursions and other services.
• This promotion is valid for travel & hotel accommodation until 31 December 2021 only, excluding any Blackout dates, stop sale during major events, festivals and conferences. Please check at the time of booking.
• The offers are only valid for adults traveling on return tickets and the lead person on the booking must be at least 18 years old.
• All accommodation must be pre-booked prior to the arrival date at the hotel. Hotel reservations must be made a minimum of 3 working days prior to arrival for the request to be processed.  This is not a guarantee of confirmation. Any reservations made directly with a hotel do not qualify for the offer and cannot be amended by Qatar Airways/ QAP/ Qatar Airways Holidays without exception.
• This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion run by Qatar Airways, Qatar Airways Partners or the participating hotels. Hotel accommodation is subject to availability and we reserve the right to offer an alternative hotel of a similar standard. No liability will be accepted where flight bookings have been made and/or tickets issued if no hotel availability exists.
• A maximum occupancy of two adults and one child below the age of 12 years is applicable for this promotion. Extra beds are available upon request and a surcharge may apply. It is not possible to upgrade to a higher class of room/suite as part of the program unless specified in the offer.
• All extra charges incurred during the stay (e.g. meals, laundry, room service, telephone etc.) are the responsibility of the guest and need to be paid directly to the hotel upon check-out and a credit card will be requested upon check-in as security against other services which are offered at an additional charge.
• Qatar Airways Holidays reserve the right to cancel any Promotional booking that does not meet these terms & conditions.
• In the event of cancellation, please contact the “Qatar Airways Holidays” team on holidays@qatarairways.com.qa within a minimum of 3 working days to avoid cancellation charges. 100% Cancellation charges apply where a full 3 working days’ notice has not been received prior to arrival at the hotel. Specific and more restrictive cancellation charges will apply during peak periods e.g. public holidays, exhibitions, conferences, special events, Eid Holidays.
• An administration fee equal to 7% of the total booking value is applicable for cancellation requests
• Should you be unable to travel due to Covid-19 within 48hours of your check-in date, a medical certificate along with the test results are required to be submitted to holidays@qatarairways.com.qa to seek an exception for the waiver of cancellation charges and process a refund accordingly.
• Air ticket amendments and cancellations are permitted as per the Qatar Airways’ travel with confidence policy.
• Standard published QR baggage allowance applies.
• We recommend you to have a valid Travel insurance Policy for your holidays.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain and carry a valid passport and other traveling documents including visas, permits, vaccination certificates, travel insurance etc. Qatar Airways Holidays will not be liable for any inconvenience, expense, loss or damage of any kind if incurred by the customer due to the failure of obtaining or producing such documents.

 

2. General Cancellation Policy

• If you or any member of your party wishes to cancel your booking once a booking has been confirmed and an invoice or receipt has been issued, the Lead Name must notify their us in writing. The cancellation charges you will be required to pay, will be calculated on the basis of the date we received the written notification and the booked departure date.
• Cancellation charges vary according to the type of service booked. You will be advised at the time of booking of the relevant cancellation terms and conditions.
• Specific and more restrictive cancellation charges will apply during peak periods e.g. public holidays, exhibitions, conferences, special events, Eid Holidays will be advised at the time of booking.
• 3 Working Days and more: Hotel + Tours & Transfers Cancellation Policy, NO Cancellation penalties.
• 2 Working days and less, No Show: Non-refundable, 100% Cancellation charges applicable

 

3. Offer exclusions:

• The offers are not available for guests whose final destination is not Qatar.
• The offers are not valid for guests originating their journey from Qatar.
• The offers are not valid for unaccompanied minors or children travelling without an adult over 18 years of age.

• No liability will be accepted where flight bookings have been made and/or tickets issued if no hotel availability exists.
• The offers are not valid in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

 
 

4. Specific Conditions are applicable for the Tours & Safaris operated and managed by Qatar Airways Holidays

• Rates and specific tour promotions are subject to change without notice and at the discretion of Qatar Airways Holidays
• If you participate in any activity (including any sports, water sports or desert sports) whilst on holiday such participation is at your own risk and it is your own responsibility to obtain the relevant insurance.
• We reserve the right to alter or omit any part of any activity for which a booking has been made without notice to you and for any reason whatsoever. In particular, due to the nature of many of the Activities, delays and cancellations may result due to factors beyond Qatar Airways Holidays control, such as the weather, sickness, strikes, disputes and other events of force majeure. In such cases, a refund or partial refund may be given at the discretion of Qatar Airways Holidays and/or the operator of the Activity concerned, but is not guaranteed.
• The full price of any activity will be due and payable at the time of processing the booking. Failure to turn up in the designated location for an Activity by the specified departure time shall be considered to be cancellation with no refund. 
• You understand and accept the potential risks and hazards that can be involved in certain of the activities, and take responsibility for ensuring that you are mentally and physically capable of participating in the particular activity. You must comply with the instructions of any personnel providing the Activity (“Guest Guide”). If in the opinion of the Guest Guide, your behavior or physical condition is detrimental to the safety, welfare and well-being of the group as a whole, or if the Guest Guide considers that your general well-being will be put at risk by continuing with the Activity, you may be asked not to participate in the Activity without the right to any refund.
• You acknowledge that Qatar Airways Holidays may not have direct control over the maintenance or safety of all the equipment or machinery used in providing the Activities, nor may it have any direct control over the training provided and supervision of the use of any equipment or machinery used in the Activities.
• Buy 3 Pay 2 offer, the complimentary tours are only applicable for the 3^rd guest and applicable for the same tour category without exceptions
• Buy 2 Pay 1 offer, the complimentary tours are only applicable for the 2^nd guest and applicable for the same tour category without exceptions

 

 

Child Policy

• No child discount applies unless otherwise specified in the package promotion
• Infants below 2 years old shall always be treated Free of charge, while infants age may be extended till 4.99 years for some tours where mentioned child age starting from 5 years and above

 

 

General Notes

• Meals and soft drinks are NOT included in our tours & safaris, unless otherwise stated. Please refer to individual descriptions for details.
• Our safari vehicles are long-wheelbase four-wheel drives, which are fitted with safety belts and air-conditioning and licensed to carry up to 4 passengers, excluding the driver, however Covid-19 vehicle capacity restrictions may be applicable, please check at the time of booking. By law, passengers must wear the seat belts, face masks while the vehicle is in motion.
• It is mandatory to read the Safety Card which is provided by the Guest Guide before proceeding on the safari.
• Passengers are reminded that photography of military and some government installations is prohibited. With respect to local customs, always ask permission before taking photos of individuals/locals.
• Guests may be asked to sign an indemnity form for certain tours & safaris.
• Discover Qatar operated Safaris do not accept children under the age of 4 unless the client books a private vehicle to accommodate the child seat.
• Discover Qatar operated Safaris do not accept Adults over the age of 60 unless the consenting adult signs the disclaimer and in doing so we have no liability to the client.
• All guests must be able to exit and enter the vehicle without assistance.
• Discover Qatar operated Safaris do not accept pregnant women due to the nature of off-road driving.
• Discover Qatar operated Safaris do not accept guests who have back injuries, heart problems, sensitive ailments or guests who have recently undergone surgery.
