Taste of Oman - 7 Days

First you will explore the highlights of Muscat including the Grand Mosque, the Bait Al Zubair, and the historic souk Muttrah. Then we will leave Muscat behind and drive towards Wahiba Sands, home to the traditional Bedouin tribe, known for their warm hospitality. You will have the chance to visit a Bedouin family where you will learn about their ancient traditions.

Then we will continue towards Niwa and visit Nizwa fort before driving to the town of Al Al Hamra where you will see the world famous stone houses of Misfat Al Arbiyeen.

Finally we will drive through Wadi Bani Auf until we reach the end point {Snake Point} of the gorge.

PCR tests: Required
PCR tests are required to enter Oman, even for those that are fully vaccinated. Please note that vaccinated travelers are also required to take a PCR test in order to avoid Quarantine when returning to Qatar. 
Vaccines: Required
All passengers travelling from Qatar can enter Oman and avoid Quarantine requirements provided they can prove that the second dose of a EMA or WHO approved vaccine was received no less than 14 days before they travel to Oman.

During your trip you will see the best of Oman including its stunning landscapes. 

Wahiba Sands – The Wahiba Sands are one of the most iconic places to visit in Oman. At over 120 miles long, you will witness a spectacle of rolling golden coloured sand dunes. We will then take you on an adventure right into the heart of the desert in your very own 4WD vehicle. You will also have the chance to visit a desert camp which is one of the best ways to soak up authentic Arabian culture. 

Misfat- Misfat is a tiny village located high in Oman's Jebel Sham Mountains. It is situated in a lush green oasis and is known for being an agricultural sweet spot. With its amazing alleys, traditional mud houses and natural charm, Misfat is one of the best places to get an insight into traditional village life in Oman. 

Jebel Akhdar  – With it being the highest point in Oman, you will witness truly incredible panoramic views. It is also known for its cool, calm atmosphere so you will not be disappointed when you visit.

Nizwa – A visit to the old capital of Oman will not disappoint. With a plethora of museums, local markets and architecture dating back centuries, you will feel like you have taken a trip back in time to medieval Oman. 

Grand Mosque - An architectural wonder, you will be in awe at the magnificence of the 'Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque'. It is one of the most beautiful and extravagant mosques in the world and well worth a visit.
