Royal Botswana Safari - 6 Days

Day Arrive in Botswana
  • Welcome to Gaborone, the gateway to Botswana.
  • Upon arrival at the International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
  • Rest of the day is at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at The Masa Square Hotel or similar in Gaborone.
Day Gaborone to Okavango Delta
  • Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Maun airport by Air Botswana. (Flight time is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Please note that the luggage restriction for the internal flight is restricted to 20kgs in a soft bag including hand luggage.
  • On arrival at Maun airport, you will be met by our representative to continue onto the charter flight to the airstrip near the lodge.
  • Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by a representative from Camp Okavango for transfer to the camp. 
  • Check in at the lodge.
  • Enjoy lunch at the camp (depending on the arrival time).
  • In the afternoon, you will depart for your first afternoon activity.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Okavango in a Safari suite or similar. 
Day Okavango Delta
  • Enjoy tea or coffee in the main area of the lodge before proceeding for the early morning activity in the Delta. 
  • Botswana’s magnificent Okavango Delta is situated within the heart of the newly declared World Heritage site, which is the world’s largest inland delta, and is a maze of deep lagoons, large lakes and hidden meandering channels. Trapped in a basin of Kalahari Desert sand, the fresh water oasis attracts wildlife that depends on the permanent waters of this unique environment.
  • Water-based activities are conducted by experienced professional guides who will expertly navigate guests through the many meandering, reed-lined waterways. Roam the vast expanses of water from the comfort of a modern motorboat or explore the intricacies of the Okavango Delta the quiet old-fashioned way, in the traditional mokoro (dugout canoe).
  • For those wanting to get a little closer to nature, guided bush walks are conducted on a number of the nearby islands, offering an opportunity to track some of the larger land-based species that inhabit this water wilderness. Birding opportunities are outstanding and anglers may put their skill against bream and tiger fish.
  • Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast served back at the lodge upon your return. Guests can relax at the camp and enjoy a swim should the weather be hot enough.  
  • Early part of the afternoon is at leisure and later lunch will be served at the camp.
  • Depart for the afternoon activity. 
  • Dinner and overnight at Camp Okavango in a Safari suite or similar. 
Day Okavango Delta to Chobe
  • Enjoy a morning game activity at the camp. 
  • Proceed for breakfast at the lodge. 
  • Guests will complete the check-out procedure, then after transfer to the airstrip for the charter flight to Kasane from the Okavango Delta. (Flight time is approximately 45 minutes)
  • On arrival at Kasane airport, Guests will be met and transfered to the lodge by road. 
  • Check in at the elegant, five-star Chobe Game Lodge. (Fully Ecotourism-certified safari lodge and the only property located inside the world-renowned Chobe National Park and set on the banks of the famous Chobe River). 
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. 
  • In the afternoon, proceed for the afternoon river cruise on the Chobe River or a game drive into the Chobe National Park. 
  • Dinner and overnight at Chobe Game Lodge in a standard room or similar. 
Day Chobe
  • Chobe Game Lodge offers a choice of land or water-based activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe National Park. Early-morning and late-afternoon game drives are conducted by expert guides in open-sided 4x4 vehicles to ensure maximum visibility of Chobe National Park’s spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Meanwhile, riverside game viewing may be done from small and highly manoeuvrable boats, perfect for morning or sunset cruises. Chobe's diverse wildlife roams in abundance – it is, for instance home to the largest concentration of elephant in Africa. During the dry season these large herds, as well as vast herds of buffalo, congregate on the fertile flood plains along the Chobe River to drink, bathe and play. There are frequent sightings of lions, African wild dogs, puku, red lechwe, sable, giraffes and roan antelopes.
  • Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge.
  • Early afternoon at leisure to enjoy the beautiful views along the river.
  • Enjoy the delicious lunch served at the lodge.
  • Proceed for the afternoon game safari. Please note that the guest can select the level of comfort and adventure on the Chobe safari.
  • Dinner and overnight at Chobe Game Lodge in a Standard room or similar. 
Day Departure from Chobe
  • Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Chobe National Park.
  • Proceed to have a tasty breakfast before check-out from the lodge.
  • Guests will be transfered from the lodge to Kasane airport. On arrival at the airport, guest will continue on the flight back to Gaborone or Johannesburg before proceeding back to Doha.(Please note that flying back via Gaborone will need an extra night in the city due to flight connectivity). 
  • Depart Botswana with lifetime memories.
