Terms and Conditions

• Sales validity: Until 15 February 2021 unless sold out prior.

• Travel period: 1 December 2020 until 17 February 2021 with all travel to be completed by 20 February 2021.

• Starting prices mentioned are per person, based on minimum two passengers travelling together.

• All packages in this program are inclusive of return international flights on Qatar Airways, accommodation on All-Inclusive basis and return airport transfers in a mode of transport as applicable for each resort.

• Purchase of travel insurance from Qatar Airways Holidays is strongly recommended.

• The availability of packages is subject to change without prior notice. In case of non-availability of the desired package, please contact our holiday shops.

• All passengers should strictly adhere to the travel restrictions and guidelines in relation to safe travel while on flight and at the resort.

• Other conditions may apply; please review at the time of booking.

• These packages are only valid for Qatar Residents, valid QID will be required at the time of check-in

• Any activities outside of the resort premises are strictly not allowed


Entry requirements

• Passengers must have a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must be taken within 72 hours of your flight.

• Additional PCR tests will also be undertaken 1) upon boarding before departure and 2) upon returning to HIA.

• At HIA before boarding you will receive a rapid PCR test, as a boarding requirement. You will need to go to your boarding gate at least 45 minutes prior to departure. Please ensure you leave ample time in order to receive the test as, if you arrive after this time, you will be denied boarding.

• This does not apply to passengers younger than 1 year.

• In accordance to health requirements all travellers travelling to the Maldives are required to submit a self-declarative health declaration within 24 hours prior to their departure. You can submit your application online here.

• You will need to keep a hard copy of your ‘Travel Bubble Holidays’ booking confirmation with you at all times. You will be required to present it when checking-in to your return flight and when you return to Qatar to prove that you are exempt from the Exceptional Entry Permit and quarantine requirements.

•  You must have been in Qatar for more than 96hrs in order to book a travel bubble package.



• Participating resorts in this 'Travel Bubble Holidays’ are Sandies Bathala Maldives 4* and Diamonds Thodufushi Beach and Water Villas 5* and Amaya Kuda Rah Beach and Water Villas 5*

• Minimum stay of 3 nights is mandatory.

• Early or late check in may be possible subject to availability.

• Cancellation or changes for the resorts:

o No charges if due to a positive COVID-19 PCR test result.

o For all other cases, there is free cancellation up to 72hrs before the check-in date. A 100% charge is applicable for cancellations made after this period.

• Last minute cancellation/no-show charge for the resorts:

o No charge if due to a positive COVID-19 PCR test result.

o For all other cases, 100% charges applicable.

• Early Departure from the resorts:

o No refunds applicable for any unused nights.

• If there is any unplanned disruption at your hotel we will aim to accommodate you at one of the other hotels featured in this offer. If we are unable to accommodate you at one of the other hotels featured in this offer, you will be eligible for a full refund. Alternatively we can book you into a hotel that is not featured in this offer, however you will be subject to the quarantine and Exceptional Entry Permit requirements.

• At the discretion of the Health Protection Agency in the Maldives, passengers displaying symptoms may be required to undergo testing. In accordance with the law, the resort is required to report all suspected cases to the authorities for further testing to be conducted. Qatar Airways Holidays will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred related to additional State mandated testing protocols and quarantine requirements.



• This package is valid on Qatar Airways flights only.

• Dedicated Qatar Airways flights are operated for this Travel bubble. Details as below:

• The dedicated bubble flights operating are QR 670 (DOH-MLE) and QR 671 (MLE-DOH) and available to book until 20 February 2021

• Ticket amendments and cancellation permitted as per the Qatar Airways’ travel with confidence policy. Please check with our consultants for more information.

• In the unlikely event that your flight is cancelled we will rebook you on the next flight to the Maldives.

• Standard published QR baggage allowance applies.

• Check-in will open 4 hours before your scheduled departure and close 2 hours before. If you attempt to check-in after this time, you will be denied boarding.

• Seats and rooms are limited and subject to availability.

• It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain and carry a valid passport and other travelling documents including visas, permits, vaccination certificates, travel insurance, etc. Qatar Airways Holidays will not be liable for any inconvenience, expense, loss or damage of any kind if incurred by the customer due to the failure of obtaining or producing such documents.



• Qatar Airways accepts no liability for any damage arising from our compliance with or your failure to comply with applicable laws or Government rules and regulations.

• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall waive any exclusion or limitation of our liability or any defence available to us under the Warsaw Convention, the Montreal Convention, or applicable laws.

• In the reasonable exercise of our discretion, we may refuse to carry you or your baggage if such action is necessary in order to comply with any applicable laws or Government rules and regulations or may endanger or affect the safety of the aircraft or the safety or health of other passengers and/or crew.

• Any breach in the required travel restrictions and guidelines in relation to safe travel while on flight and at the resort for the 'Travel Bubble Holidays’ will result in the customer being subject to the normal entry requirements to return to Qatar and may result in the return flight being invalidated and any new flights booked at your own expense.

• All participants in the 'Travel Bubble Holidays’ will be asked to sign a declaration agreeing to these terms as a condition of travel.

• If you or a member of your travelling party test positive to Covid-19 while in the Maldives you will be quarantined at the hotel in a dedicated area, and you will be monitored by the on-site medical personnel. You will need to follow the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health in the Maldives including the required quarantine period. You will be unable to travel to Qatar until you return a negative test and if you are required to remain in the Maldives beyond your planned travel dates, this will be at your own expense.

• If you test positive on your return from MLE you will need to follow instructions from the MOPH representative at the airport. If you require a hotel quarantine package, this will be at your own expense and will be immediately arranged for you by our colleagues at the Discover Qatar desk.
