Day Arrive in Delhi
  • Welcome to New Delhi. 
  • Upon arrival at the International Airport, a representative will meet you as you exit the arrivals terminal. 
  • You will be transferred to your hotel by private vehicle. 
  • Check in to The Oberoi Gurugram. 
  • Rest of the day is at leisure. 
  • You can opt the Havelis, Heritage & Flavours of Old Delhi tour. Embark on a walking tour through the labyrinthine streets of Old Delhi, home to numerous palatial buildings called Haveli. The expert will narrate anecdotes about inception of the Haveli culture, the owners,  their lives and their key characteristics. Walk in to few of these Havelis and marvel at the intricate carvings. Also, witness a stunning Jain Temple inside the lanes of Chandni Chowk. 
  • Or you can opt for The Glorious Qutub – Heritage Walking Tour. The Qutub Minar is one of the best landmarks of Delhi and the world’s tallest brick minaret. 
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Gurugram.
Day Delhi to Thiksey
  • Early this morning you will be met at your hotel and assisted with transfer to airport for your flight to Leh at 06:55hrs. 
  • Following your arrival into Leh at 08:20hrs, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your residence, Chamba Camp, Thiksey and accompanied to your Luxury Tent. 
  • There will be no activity for the day of arrival as it is medically mandated that you relax and undergo minimal exertion to enable you to acclimatize to the rarefied oxygen levels at this high-altitude. 
  • You may take a stroll through the blessed hamlet of Thiksey and engage with the joyous local community and its pastoral lifestyle, immersing you to the scintillating peace and tranquility.
  • Overnight stay at your camp in Thiksey. 
Day The little Tibet experience
  • Today brings a late start, leaving the morning free for you to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and walk around the camp site. 
  • Or, you may take an easy, invigorating walk in the vicinity of the camp through the lush farmlands of Nyerma.  
  • Return to the camp for your lunch.
  • Following lunch, you will visit the famed Matho monastery. The village of Matho is located at the mouth of a deep gorge running out of the Zanskar Range and across the river Indus.
  • We then proceed on a gentle orientation tour of Leh. The city boulevard presents a cauldron of shops which sell Pashmina shawls, stoles to Tibetan handicraft items. A few scattered curio shops also offer Tibetan silver jewelry and traditional Ladakhi jewelry set with turquoise, jade and emerald.
  • Your walk concludes near Chubi village where your vehicle will pick you up and take you to Shanti Stupa, perched upon a great vantage point over Leh, with spectacular views of this mesmerizing stone strewn landscape.
  • Overnight stay at your camp in Thiksey. 
Day Walk in the Footsteps of Buddha
  • After a sumptuous breakfast, embark on a spiritual exploration of the monastic treasure of Ladakh. 
  • Driving through picturesque landscape along the River Indus, arrive at the fabled Alchi Monastery. Founded by Ringchen Zangpo, the Alchi Gompa displays a Kashmiri influence in its art and architecture.
  • On your way back from Alchi, you will drive past the Basgo fort. 
  • Relish a delectable lunch in a picturesque setting in the hamlet of Nimmu before you drive back to your residence in Thiksey. 
  • Alternatively, you can also combine your visit to Alchi with optional rafting excursion.
  • On your way back to camp, stop by at the hamlet of Nimmu for a gentle walk though the bountiful fields and savor a taste of local hospitality. 
  • Overnight stay at your camp in Thiksey. 
Day Two paths to Nirvana
  • An early morning start with tea and coffee followed by a visit to the Thiksey monastery. At the monastery, you will have the privilege to participate in the Buddhist morning prayer ceremony at sunrise. 
  • Continue on a guided tour of the monastery, visiting the beautiful prayer rooms which has many handwritten and painted books as well as the temple dedicated to goddess Tara with her 21 images placed in glass-covered wooden shelves.
  • Return to the camp for a hearty breakfast. The rest of the morning is free, allowing you time to relax and take in the pristine beauty around you. 
  • After a sumptuous lunch at camp, proceed to explore the jewel in the crown of the  Drukpa lineage, the Hemis Monastery, the biggest monastic institution of Ladakh. The monastery halls are adorned with beautiful statues and mural paintings.
  • Overnight stay at your camp in Thiksey. 
Day Day at leisure
  • Breakfast at the camp.
  • The day is at leisure. You may choose to embark on an Excursion to Pangong Lake. Take in the breath-taking views and setting of the blue lake set amidst the lofty Himalaya mountains.
  • Following a lunch return to the comfort of your camp in Thiksey.
  • Alternatively, you may choose to visit the village of Stok. For this excursion you will drive 19 kilometres (40 mins) to visit the Stok Palace, across the River Indus. Take a walk through the Palace, a beautiful medieval fortress, serving as the residence of the Queen Mother and Prince of Ladakh.
  • Or, take a day trip to the mesmerizing Tso Kar - The White Lake, which lies beyond the dizzying heights of Tanglang La Pass (the world’s second highest motorable pass) - the world's second highest motorable pass also makes for an unforgettable experience.
  • Overnight stay at your camp in Thiksey. 
Day Leh to Delhi
  • Today you bid farewell to the enchanting and breath-taking mountainous and rugged terrain of Ladakh, as you transfer to the Leh airport and board your flight to your onward destination at 08:55hrs. 
  • Upon arrival you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel.
  • Afternoon is free for shopping. 
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Gurugram.
Day Depart Delhi
  • Breakfast at the hotel. 
  • Check out of the hotel. 
  • Meet our representative and proceed for your transfer in private vehicle to board your departure flight. 
  • Depart Delhi.
