Qatar Airways flights to/from Erbil (EBL) and to/from Sulaymaniyah (ISU) suspended from 15:00 (UTC) 29 September until further notice.
At the request of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, all international air traffic to and from Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU) airports will be suspended with effect from 15:00 (UTC) on 29 September until further notice.
Qatar Airways will hope to resume operations once a new notification is issued by the Iraqi Authorities permitting international flights to both, or either, of these two airports.

Travel to the United States: Electronics ban lifted.
Qatar Airways is pleased to confirm that with immediate effect, all personal electronic devices (PEDs) can be carried on board all departures from Hamad International Airport, Doha, to destinations in the United States.
Qatar Airways and Hamad International Airport have met with all requirements of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s enhanced security guidelines and are committed to assist our passengers fulfill these new requirements.
With the removal of the ban on carrying PEDs on board, comes the requirement to implement heightened security measures during the pre-boarding process for U.S bound flights.
To assist all our passengers meet these enhanced measures in the most convenient manner, the following guidelines are suggested:
1. Arrive at Hamad International Airport in sufficient extra time to allow for the enhanced security screening to be conducted at the departure gate.
2. Have your carry-on PEDs conveniently accessible.
3. Consider packing in your check-in baggage, all PEDs that you do not intend using in-flight.
A list of personal electronic devices that are now allowed to be carried on-board U.S. bound flights and that are subject to enhanced security screening, is shown below.
