Day Arrive in Da Nang
  • Welcome to Da Nang.
  • Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, meet our representative. (This itinerary is applicable for flights scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday. For any other days, the program is subject to customisation). 
  • Transfer to hotel (journey of 7 kms, 15 minutes drive approx.).
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Enjoy half day Da Nang city tour. Visit to the Dragon Bridge - Da Nang's fiery new success symbol then head to Cao Dai Temple which was built in 1956 and is Vietnam’s second most important Cao Dai temple after the one in Tay Ninh. Next, make a stop at the informative Cham Museum which houses the best collection of Champa Kingdom ruins in Asia.Finally, head a few miles south to the Marble Mountains - a cluster of 5 marble and limestone mountains which rise dramatically from the flat land along the coast of the Eastern Sea. The mountains contain numerous caves and tunnels and it is possible to reach one of the summits.

Day Da Nang

  • Day will be at leisure or you can go for Hoi An walking tour in late afternoon (journey of 22 kms, 31 minutes drive approx. at additional cost). Hoi An known then as ‘Faifo’, was a prosperous trading port, attracting Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish ships amongst others. Today, this World Heritage ancient town is recognized for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-only streets. Hoi An’s narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour of its many atmospheric sights including: the old merchant houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters across the stream, the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with its intricate woodcarvings and the colourful market.

Day Da Nang

  • Day will be at leisure or you can opt for Ba Na Hill (journey of 40 kms, 1 hour drive approx. at additional cost) In the old-growth forest, there are 543 species of flora and 256 species of fauna including many rare animals such as: Crested Argus, Asian Black Bear, northern buffed cheeked gibbon. Located at an elevation of 1,487 meters, the temperature of this place is mostly cool year-round. Arrive at Ba Na Hills Station where you have a chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars. Get a bird's-eye view of nature which is strikingly beautiful, while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky among the clouds and wind.
  • Next, visit some old French villas as well as a suspension bridge, Nui Chua and the Mountain Peak.
  • After your lunch at a local restaurant with a great view, continue to explore Vong Nguyet villa, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the world famous “Hand of God” bridge.

Day Da Nang to Hanoi

  • Transfer from hotel to airport by a private vehicle to board your flight departing to Hanoi.

  • Enjoy half day Hanoi city tour. Visit the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an imposing monument of marble and granite built to house the preserved body of beloved Vietminh leader Ho Chi Minh, affectionately known to the Vietnamese as “Uncle Ho”. Continue on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. The picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote. Enjoy the cyclo ride back to the city centre to visit the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake (“Lake of the Returned Sword”) named after a magical sword once used by a legendary Vietnamese emperor to defeat the Chinese Ming Dynasty.

Day Halong Bay

  • Depart on a 2-hour drive to Hai Phong via the new highway and over the longest bridge in South East Asia.
  • Check in to Azalea Cruise.
  • Enjoy a welcome drink upon boarding and become acquainted with the facilities on board during the welcome briefing. We then begin our unique journey exploring one of the new wonders of nature – Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy lunch in dining room, offering panoramic views of the passing scenery. Along the way, we pass an ancient lighthouse, built by the French over 100 years ago. We head deeper and further south into the karst maze of Lan HaBay.
  • Lan Ha Bay is actually a part of Halong Bay that recently opened to the public. Relax on the sun deck and soak in the aura of the fascinating scenery— a surreal seascape.
  • Disembark at a village on Cat Ba Island where we meet and greet local villagers and see their daily routines at homes, school, and work. Back on board, our chef will lead an interactive cooking class in the open kitchen at the restaurant. Learn about delicious local ingredients and how to prepare traditional Vietnamese recipes you can imitate at home. We then arrive at a tranquil anchor location for the night; a hidden place to reminisce about the day’s adventures and delightful dinner is served in the dining room.
  • Join the crew for squid fishing before retiring to your room for the evening.

Day Hanoi
  • Wake up early and join our Tai Chi session on the sundeck to ease mind and body into the day as the first rays of the sun touch the water.
  • Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries wait in the dining room to start the new day.
  • The cruise begins cruising towards Tra Bau, a secluded spot that is perfect for our morning excursion. In kayaks, we drift along the waters of the bay for a closer look at the serene surroundings. Paddling through the dreamlike landscape with tree-topped islands, you will feel a sense of freedom and harmony with nature that you have never experienced before.
  • Back on board, a hearty breakfast is served in the dining room before we start our journey back to the pier. Savor the last moments of this unique journey by relaxing on comfy sun beds on the terrace deck.

  • Subject to flight departure you can opt for Hanoi Shopping tour. Shopping in Hanoi is most famed for its traditional markets and narrow shop houses, but there are a growing number of flash boutiques and shopping malls offering a wide range of international brands, as well as traditional handmade craft that are best for house decoration. The best thing about shopping in Hanoi is that you can do it on foot, with many streets dedicated to specific trades in the Old Quarter.
