Day 03 Jun 2019: Arrive Phnom Penh
  • Welcome to Phnom Penh.
  • Flight landed at 15:40 hours in Phnom Penh. Upon arrival meet our guide and driver.
  • Transfer to hotel (journey of 13.7 kms, 45 minutes drive approx.).
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Rest of the day at leisure.
  • Gather tonight for a delicious welcome dinner.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 04 Jun 2019: Phnom Penh – Kampong Chhnang – Battambang
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer out of Phnom Penh to ancient capital of Udong. Udong Mountain is still home to many of the old Royal Palaces. Pay a visit to one of the remaining stupas on the hill.
  • Cycling onwards to Pursat Province tracing the outline of the Tonle Say Lake. Our ride finishes in Pursat province, then continue to transfer directly to Battambang city where will spend the night in Cambodia’s sleepy second city. 
  • Spend some time this evening after the dinner.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Battambang.

Day 05 Jun 2019: Battambang – Siem Reap
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Today’s ride will be a fast paced trip along a good road taking in some local villages along the way. 
  • Transfer to Banteay Meanchey and start cycling through the countryside on paved roads until we reach Siem Reap.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Battambang.

Day 06 Jun 2019: Siem Reap – Cycle to Banteay Srei
  • In the morning, hop on your bike to visit the majestic and formidable temple of Angkor Wat then continue to the beautiful rose sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, explore the temple’s magnificent carvings, we then embark on the 31kilometre Grand Circuit to the famous ruined, jungle temple of Ta Phrom. Ta Phrom is one of Angkor’s jewels and is overgrown with fig trees, giving it a haunting yet exotic atmosphere. 
  • The magnificent roots of the trees have merged over the centuries with the temple’s huge stone blocks, emphasizing a ‘forgotten city’ feeling. The temple was built by King Jayavarman VII to commemorate his mother. Take your time to walk through the temple.
  • Cycle back to Siem Reap via picturesque country lanes.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 07 Jun 2019: Siem Reap – Beng Mealea – Kampong Thom
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Cycle through several villages, heading for the Beng Mealea temple, which is located to the North East of Angkor.
  • Visit through the stunning countryside, passing fields as well as stopping to say hello to the villagers along the way.
  • Will have lunch at local restaurant.
  • In the afternoon continue to cycle to Kampong Thom, a picturesque town on the bank of Steung Sen River where cycling ends today.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Kampong Thom.

Day 08 Jun 2019: Kampong Thom – Kampong Cham – Transfer to Phnom Penh
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer on the National Road No.6 to avoid busy traffic. 
  • Start cycling from Kampong Thmor for 28 kms through many farms of cassava, sweet potatoes, peanuts and rubber plantations.
  • Chamkar Leu town to cycle another 32 kms on quiet sealed road through the pagodas, and villages. Lunch in Stung Trong, the ferry town on the Mekong River.
  • Afternoon, cycle on roads that roughly follows the Mekong River before reaching the sealed road again where we stop at Han Chey hilltop temple where remains Mass grave from the Khmer Rouge regime (1975-1979). 
  • Cycle to complete the last 33 kms in the afternoon and transfer by vehicle to your Phnom Penh hotel.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 09 Jun 2019: Depart Phnom Penh
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Will visit Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace and the nearby Silver Pagoda.
  • In the afternoon, it’s time to learn more about the dark chapter of Cambodian history as we visit sites related to the Khmer regime. Visit the notorious Tuol Sleng Museum & Choeung Ek Killing Field. This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.
  • Enjoy your lunch.
  • Transfer from hotel to airport to board your departure flight.
  • Depart Phnom Penh.
