We start the tour visiting San Martin Tilcajete, where we will visit one of the artisan workshops and learn the secrets of woodcarving for creating a fantastic universe of unimaginable figures, known as Alebrijes.
Our next stop is at Santo Tomas Jalieza, we appreciate the way the symbols of the Zapotec peoples are woven through the backstrap loom.
It is time to visit the "flea market" on Fridays in Ocotlan de Morelos, there we will find red clay pottery, cutlery, apaxtles and rustic kitchen utensils. Also know the Dominican convent dating back to 1555, it is now a museum exhibiting works by the famous artist Rodolfo Morales, local handicrafts and art of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Mezcal is one of the best in the Valley of Oaxaca.
